Below are some attack combo/macro recommendations for Assassins in PvE and PvP.

Attack Combos Starting at Level 19[ | ]

For attacks against mobs that are either lower level than yourself or same level, starting at level 19 use:

Puncture Wound > Deep Sting > wait for the sleep symbol ( Sleep debuff ) to move to the left of bleed symbol ( Bleed DOT ) under enemy's HP bar > Slipstream Strike > normal attacks

Keep doing these attacks until you hit level 29.

Attack Combos Starting at Level 29[ | ]

At level 29 here's an additional move set.

Ranged mobs:

Shadow Jump > Tackling Slash > Normal Attacks

- or -

Spark > Shadow Jump > Tackling Slash > Normal Attacks

Magic mobs:

Same as ranged mob, but there is 1 more choice

Deep Sting > Tackling Slash > Normal Attacks > If mob starts casting again, Knife Throw > If mob run from you, Shadow Jump > Tackling Slash (Immediately) > Normal Attacks

Melee mobs:

Always starts with bow attacking from farthest distance (usually able to pull off 4 shots) then the following combos (remember to switch back to dagger first):

Puncture Wound > Deep Sting > wait for the sleep symbol ( Sleep debuff ) to move to the left of bleed symbol ( Bleed DOT ) under enemy's HP bar > Tackling Slash > Normal Attacks

- or -

Some huge pure melee mob such as trees cannot attack you if you stand right on it

Tackling Slash > Shadow Jump > Normal Attacks

Attack Combos Starting at Level 39[ | ]

Same moves above but buff yourself with Bloodpaint and Focus Mind first. Sometimes add in a spark when facing mobs with special bonus such as increased defense, or life.

Attack Combos Starting at Level 59[ | ]

Ranged mobs:

Rib Strike > Double Spark > Tackling Slash > normal attacks (add in another Double Spark if needed)

- or -

Double Spark > normal attacks

You may want to use Inner Harmony and/or Raising Dragon Strike to help get your chi up before you use Double Spark.

Melee mobs:

The same combo from previous level range

- or -

Rib Strike > Double Spark > normal attacks (add in another Double Spark if needed)

You may want to use Inner Harmony and/or Raising Dragon Strike to help get your chi up before you use Double Spark.

PvP Attacks[ | ]

For PvP it's almost the same. It's best if you are level 60+.

Tip 1:

Do your buffs first:

Bloodpaint > Deaden Nerves > Focused Mind > Wolf Emblem

(Ordered by longest lasting to shortest lasting, but keep in mind that Wolf Emblem has a shorter cooldown time than Focused Mind.)

Then:

Shadow Walk (stealth) > Deep Sting (sleep) > Slipstream Strike > Throatcut (1 Spark) > Tackling Slash > Windpush (sprint) > Shadow Teleport (1 Spark)

Tip 2:

Do your buffs first:

Bloodpaint > Deaden Nerves > Focused Mind > Wolf Emblem

Then:

Shadow Walk (stealth) > Deep Sting (sleep) > Slipstream Strike > Tackling Slash > Windpush (sprint) > Shadow Teleport (1 Spark) > Shadow Escape (stealth; if you're lucky you gain 1 spark here) > Headhunt (2 Sparks)

When you're PKing make sure you have these moves:

Shadow Teleport level 1 > Slipstream level 10 > Puncture Wound level 10 > Tackling Slash at least level 5 > Tidal Protection level 1 > Deaden Nerves level 1 > Shadow Walk level 8+ (preferably 10) > Shadow Escape level 5+ > Double Spark > Inner Harmony > Raising Dragon Strike level 1+ > Chill of the Deep level 2+

When you find a tasty robe class and they are not AFK, immediately stealth, and stalk them from behind, when they stop you can Double Spark (takes some time), then there's two possibilities:

1) They move, going to their destination, if this is the case, immediately use Inner Harmony and Shadow Teleport, then Tackling Slash > Puncture Wound > Slipstream (and if they are not dead, spam skills).
2) They stay still, that's the good case as you can Tackling Slash > Puncture Wound > Slipstream Strike (if they're not dead, throw in a Raising Dragon Strike). (This will not work very well in the high 8x or 9x because you need to spam more higher damaging skills.)

There has been some disagreement as to whether you should keep Chill of the Deep activated when PKing. The answer is you should not, it does raise your attack level but the speed reduction makes it so you do less damage per second with it on, and that is something you do not want.
