Perfect World has different types of currencies that can be used for buying, selling and exchanging.

Coins[edit | edit source]

Coins Icon.png Coins are the most basic type of currency that can be found in PWI. Players can use coins to buy items from NPCs, items from player Consignment Shops or they can convert them into Gold through the Auction House. Coins are also used for manufacturing equipment, upgrading Homestead facilities, many forms of teleportation, learning advanced skills and for other miscellaneous things.

Coins are dropped from monsters and bosses after they are killed. Most quests will reward players with coins. Players can convert Gold into coins through the Auction House. Coins can also be obtained by selling various items to NPCs. Players can set Consignment Shops to sell items to other players and make coins. This method is called "merchanting" by the player base. Coins are carried in the player's Inventory, they can be stashed inside the player's bank and can be transferred to other characters on the account using the Account Stash.

Big Notes[edit | edit source]

Ten Million Big Note.png If a player wants to carry more Coins than the Inventory allows, they can turn the Coins into 10 Million Big Notes. The service is available at most Banker NPCs. If they sell the Big Notes to an NPC, the Big Notes will be turned into Coins again.
