Perfect World has different types of currencies that can be used for buying, selling and exchanging.

Coins[ | ]

Inventory Coin Convert

Players can convert silver coins to gold coins and vice versa for the first 48 hours you log in after October 22nd, 2019 (top). After 48 hours you can only convert gold coins to silver coins (bottom).

Coins are the most basic type of currency that can be found in the game. There are two different types of coins - gold coins and silver coins. Players can use gold coins to buy items from player Consignment Shops or they can convert them into Gold through the Auction House. Silver coins are used for buying items from NPCs, manufacturing equipment, upgrading Homestead facilities, many forms of teleportation, learning advanced skills and other miscellaneous things.

Gold coins and silver coins are carried in the player's inventory. Silver coins cannot be moved from the inventory to any other places, while gold coins can be moved into the bank, Account Stash, and traded with other players. Gold coins can be converted into silver coins, but silver coins cannot normally be converted into gold coins.

Upon the first time a player logs in after October 22nd, 2019, they will have the ability to freely convert silver coins into gold coins and vice versa for 48 hours. This is not available for characters created on or after October 23rd, 2019. Players that can freely convert their currencies will be able to see a timer on their screen during this time that cannot be dismissed. After the 48 hour period expires, players will no longer be able to convert silver coins into gold coins.

Gold Coins[ | ]

Gold Coin Icon Gold coins are a tradeable type of currency that can be used to purchase items from other players. Gold coins can be dropped on the ground, traded to other players, used in Consignment Shops, Commission Shops, and in the Auction House. As of the Wings of Rebirth Content Update, all regular coins were converted into gold coins. You can hold a total of 1 billion gold coins in your inventory, and 2 billion gold coins in your bank.

Gold coins can be acquired by selling certain items to NPCs or trading with other players. Items that can be sold to NPCs for gold coins include Ten Million Big Notes, Perfect Iron Hammers, Five Million Big Notes, Bounty Nice Guy Cards, and Bounty Noble Man Cards. The two bounty cards can be acquired through Bounty Hunter quests and are replacements for Ecstasy Cards and Excitement Cards. Five Million Big Notes can be acquired by owning Territories on the main map.

You can freely convert gold coins into silver coins at a 1:1 ratio (for example, you can convert 1000 gold coins into silver coins). Silver coins cannot be converted into gold coins.

Big Notes[ | ]

Ten Million Big Note If a player wants to carry more gold coins than the Inventory allows, they can turn their gold coins into Ten Million Big Notes. The service is available at most Banker NPCs. If they sell the Big Notes to an NPC, the Big Notes will be turned into gold coins again. You cannot use silver coins to make Ten Million Big Notes.

Silver Coins[ | ]

Silver Coin Icon Silver coins are a non-tradeable type of currency that can be used for anything not related to trading with other players. They can be used to purchase items from NPCs, repair equipment, manufacturing various items, upgrading skills, hatching/stowing pets, and more. If you do not have enough silver coins for something, you have the option to pay using the same amount of gold coins instead. Silver coins are restricted to the inventory, but there is no known silver coin limit that you can have.

You cannot convert silver coins into gold coins normally, but for the first 48 hours a player logs in on or after October 23rd, 2019, they will be able to convert their silver coins into gold coins freely.

Silver coins can be acquired through completing quests, as monster loot, or selling items to NPCs. You can also convert your gold coins to silver coins at a 1:1 ratio (for example, you can convert 1000 gold coins into silver coins).
