A Faction Base is an instance unique to each Faction. It contains within it NPCs that provide a Faction's members with special items, power-ups, and services. It also houses the ten Faction Trials, named the Ten-Dimensional Domain. The Faction Base can be entered by talking to a Faction Base Manager, located in Archosaur (571, 656), Etherblade (440,868), City of Plume (337 430), City of Lost (248,648), and Raging Tides (656,133). Players can also teleport to it using the Back to Base skill if the Faction Talent has been activated. If you have recently joined a Faction after previously leaving a Faction you will not be able to enter the Faction Base for 7 days.
Faction Bases received a complete overhaul with the Wonderland expansion. Bases no longer have stats such as level and health, meaning items and power-ups are available to each Faction with a base. Existing bases are limited initially; they will be locked and 1,000 Loyalty Points must be earned in a single week in order to unlock it. Newer Faction Bases do not have this restriction and are already unlocked when they are purchased. All Faction Bases regardless of their creation time must earn 1,000 Loyalty Points each week to ensure the base stays open; if 1,000 Loyalty Points are not earned after 4 weeks then the base will be locked. When this happens the base can only be unlocked once the Faction has earned 1,000 Loyalty Points in a single week.
For information on the now-outdated version of the Faction Base, see Faction Base (Old).
Story[ | ]
Long ago, the Archdemon Isrifar and his minions ravaged Perfect World.
In order to eliminate this dark force, several large groups of soldiers were sent to defeat them but fell in battle. The Elders of Perfect World gathered together and decided to send several powerful Factions. When they defeated Isrifar's minions, though, he swallowed everything in a flash of red light.
Though the Elders did not know what had happened, for the time being his evil was sealed.
It would not last.
A hundred years later, a red flash swallowed the Faction Bases as Isrifar's century-old blood curse activated, and the once-sealed Ten-Dimensional Domain returned! Worryingly, there were reports that the deceased Lord Tyrant was alive within the labyrinth. The Elder of Archosaur has once again called upon the Factions to send their members into the Ten-Dimensional Domain, and to prepare for a deadly battle that will determine the fate of Perfect World.

Creating a Faction Base[ | ]
The Faction Leader can establish their Faction Base by speaking with Faction Base Manager Zeen and selecting the "Establish Base" option. He is located in the East district of Archosaur (571, 656) and also in most major cities in the Midlands.
In order to establish a base, the following requirements must be met:
- Faction Level 3
- 1 Faction Base Contract
To receive a Faction Base Contract, the Faction Leader must have one of the following:
- 30 Ten Million Big Notes: A total cost of 300,000,000 Gold Coins.
- OR
- Loyalty Stone: Purchasable from the Boutique
Once they have 30 Ten Million Big Notes or a Loyalty Stone, they may take a quest from the Faction Base Manager to exchange for the Faction Base Contract.
Unlocking the Faction Base[ | ]
If your Faction Base existed prior to the Wonderland expansion, or before the 31st of January 2018, then it will be temporarily locked. In order to unlock it, your Faction's members must work together to gain 1,000 Loyalty Points during the week. Loyalty Points reset on Monday at 12:05AM, so if you have not acquired 1,000 Loyalty Points by this time then you will need to start gaining Loyalty Points again from scratch. Newer Faction Bases do not have this restriction and are unlocked as soon as they have been purchased.
Factions must maintain Loyalty Points in order to keep their base open regardless of when they created it. If 1,000 Loyalty Points are not earned after 4 weeks then the Faction Base will be locked and can only be unlocked once members earn 1,000 Loyalty Points in a single week. It is recommended to earn 1,000 Loyalty Points each week to prevent the base from becoming inaccessible.
Faction Stats[ | ]
There are three different types of stats:
- Chivalry Points: These are points that Faction members can use to exchange for materials used in the Faction Base. They can be earned by running through certain dungeons, however each member will only earn 10 Chivalry Points per day regardless of how many dungeons they run. Chivalry Points reset every Monday at 12:00AM at which point the amount of Chivalry Points the player acquired throughout the week will be reset and transformed into Divine Justice Stones. Players can redeem the Divine Justice Stones from the Faction window.
- Loyalty Funds: These are points accumulated from running certain dungeons and are used by the Faction Leader to purchase items, Faction Talents, or repair funds for members. They can be earned by running through certain dungeons and completing Faction Goals, and will accumulate unlike Chivalry Points. Loyalty Funds reset every Monday at 12:00AM and all Loyalty Funds the Faction accumulated throughout the week will be transferred to Available Loyalty Funds.
- Loyalty Points: This is the total amount of Chivalry Points that Faction members have earned throughout the week. They can also be earned by completing Faction Goals. Loyalty Points are required to access the Faction Base and levels in the Ten-Dimensional Domain. These points are not spent like the other two stats. Loyalty Points reset every Monday at 12:00AM and all points the Faction accumulated throughout the week will be transferred to Available Loyalty Points.
Faction Goals[ | ]
Faction Goals allows members to work together to gain a high amount of Loyalty Points or Loyalty Funds. Most Faction Goals require a Faction Squad, a squad that consists of 8 Faction members, to complete a certain dungeon in a certain mode. Some Faction Goals do not require Faction Squads or dungeons. By default there are three goals available to all factions, however extra goals can be purchased as secondary Faction Talents.
Faction Goals reset each week on Monday at 12:00AM. Faction Goals unlocked through Faction Talents will need to be unlocked again.

Faction Pet[ | ]
The Faction Pet is a creature that resides in the Faction Base that all members work together to take care of during the day. Members can interact with the pet to keep its stats high and for entertainment. It will also reward members once every 24 hours depending on its stats when a player claims a prize.
The Faction Pet has three stats. Each one will decrease by 20 each hour, so they must be maintained constantly.
- Hunger: The fullness of the pet.
- Mood: How happy the pet is.
- Comfort: How comfortable the pet feels.
The Faction Pet's form can be changed at any time by any Faction member. This can be done by clicking the Switch button in the Faction Pet interface and clicking Yes. You cannot choose which form it takes; it will simply rotate between Smiling Sheep, Sneeze, and Big Bear in that order.
Activities[ | ]
There are several activities that members can do with the Faction Pet. Most activities will help to replenish the pet's stats.
- Walk: Take the Faction Pet for a walk. This activity can be repeated infinitely. During the walk, you or another member must accompany the pet on its walk, otherwise it will become disinterested and walk back to its home. It will walk around in a circle, checking out the outside of the Headquarters, before strolling along the coast of Rivermouth and then back to its home. Successfully walking the Faction Pet will increase its Mood by 20.
- Play Game: Play a guessing game with the Faction Pet. If you win the game, you must wait 24 hours before you can play again. The game is a variation Rock Paper Scissors, however slightly altered to be Stone Scissors Cloth. The premise of the game is to click the Start Guessing Game button, and then choose one of the options in the window. To win a round your choice must beat the Faction Pet's choice - Stone beats Scissors, Scissors beats Cloth, and Cloth beats Stone. There is no strategy to the game as the pet will make its choices at random. Win 3 out of 5 rounds to win the game. If you win, the Faction Pet's Mood will increase by 20.
- Warm Bed: Meditate while the pet sleeps to make it more comfortable. When warming the pet's bed, your character will begin to meditate and a timer will begin in the Faction Pet window. Every 10 minutes that you meditate, the pet's Comfort will increase by 20. The timer will reset after 10 minutes, meaning that players can essentially leave their character meditating while they are away from the keyboard to keep the pet's Comfort at a maximum. If you stop meditating the timer will stop and you will have to start over.
- Build Nest: Add to the pet's bedding to increase its comfort, using Crystal Bricks. They can be harvested from Nightfrost Crystal Ores, located on the island at the Mirror Pond. Clicking on the Build Nest button will bring up another window where you can add the Crystal Bricks into the slots in the window. When doing so, it will show a preview of how much Comfort the pet will have after you have given it some Crystal Bricks. Each Crystal Brick will increase the Faction Pet's Comfort by 5.
- Cute: The pet will perform a cute action for you. This does not affect any of its stats, however can be repeated indefinitely.
- Reward: Receive a reward from the Faction Pet based on how high its stats are. You can only take a reward from the pet once every 24 hours.
- Feed: Feed the pet. You can get food either through fishing or farming in the Faction Base. Once you have acquired food and clicked the Feed button, another window will appear where you can insert the food into the slots in the window. When doing so, it will show a preview of how much Hunger the pet will have after you have given it some food. Each type of food will replenish varying amounts of Hunger, ranging from 2 to 15.
- Switch: Switch the appearance of the pet. This can be done by any member. It will only affect its appearance and not its stats. There is no limit for how many times a member can change the pet's appearance.
Fishing[ | ]
Members can go fishing to catch fish to feed the Faction Pet to replenish its Hunger. When a member enters the Faction Base for the first time, there will be a tutorial quest available to show them how to fish. After that, the Faction Pet will offer 5 Fish Baits per day.
To go fishing, you must take the Fish Bait to the Mirror Pond in the Faction Base, around the area with the lily pads. If you are in the correct area, the Bait in your Inventory will be able to be used. Using the bait will put your character into a fishing mini-game. A bar will appear on the screen with a marker that constantly moves across it. To stop the marker, press the Space key and your character will catch a fish.
There are four different fish that the player can catch. Each fish varies in quality, and determines the amount of hunger it will replenish for the pet.
- Shrimp: Replenishes 2 Hunger.
- Crucian: Replenishes 3 Hunger.
- Catfish: Replenishes 4 Hunger.
- Koi: Replenishes 5 Hunger.
The type of fish you can catch depends on where the marker stops on the bar.
- Yellow: Shrimp (50%), Crucian (50%)
- Red: Catfish (50%), Koi (50%)
- Blue: Crucian (50%), Catfish (50%)
Farming[ | ]
As an alternative to fishing, members can also farm for crops to feed to the pet. There is only one farm which any member can interact with, so is a slower way to gain food but does not require any extra items. Farming can be done at the Peach Grove Residence in the Faction Base by interacting with the Windmill. There are four phases to farming: Plough, Water, Fertilizer, and Harvest. Each phase takes roughly 1 hour and 12 seconds to complete, meaning that it takes a total of 4 hours and 48 seconds to farm Pet Food from start to finish. Completing the phases will yield 4 Pet Food, which replenishes 15 Hunger each.
To proceed through each phase, the member must click the Start button within the Faction Pet Planting interface. A timer will then begin to run, indicating when the current phase of planting will be completed. The plants will also slowly grow. Once the timer has run to 0, the plants will stay dormant until a member comes back and starts the next phase.
Once the plants have been harvested, the food produced from them will be stored in the Harvest Stash. This can be accessed by opening the Faction Pet Planting interface at the Windmill and then clicking the Harvest Stash button. Any food produced from farming will be stored in the slots in the window that appears, and can be removed by clicking the Harvest button, after which the food will appear in the player's Inventory.
Auto Planting[ | ]
A member can choose to select the Auto Planting option to allow the plants to grow through all four phases automatically without any further interaction required. A setback for this option is that only 2 Pet Food will be yielded instead of 4 Pet Food. To set Auto Planting, the member must check the box before they begin the first phase of farming, planting. Auto Planting cannot be turned on or off while plants are already being grown.
Rewards[ | ]
Every 24 hours, members can receive a reward from the Faction Pet depending on its stats. There are three different tiers of prizes:
- No Reward: All three stats below 20
- Low-level Reward: All three stats 20+
- Medium-level Reward: All three stats 50+
- High-level Reward: All three stats 80+

Services[ | ]
Faction Merchant[ | ]
The Faction Merchant, Rayu, is located inside the Faction Base just through the entrance to the house, near where the player spawns inside of the base. She will offer to sell members exclusive items for Silver Coins, and also offers exchange options for more items using materials obtained using Chivalry Points and a Silver Coin fee. There is also a Faction Merchant located in East Archosaur (572, 656), but she will only offer exchange options for a smaller selection of items compared to the merchant inside of the base.
Shop[ | ]
All items in the shop only cost Silver Coin, and do not have any other requirements other than what is listed on the item.
Exchange[ | ]
Faction Designer[ | ]
The Faction Designer is located within the Faction Base, in a small area near where the player spawns in the base. She can be found by going through the gate to the house and immediately turning and going left. She will exchange Faction Base materials and Silver Coins in exchange for Faction Uniforms, unique fashion sets for Faction members. Each set contains a top, pants, shoes, and gloves, and the pieces are a fixed color and therefore cannot be dyed.
Below is a list of the different fashion sets. Note that sets of both genders are listed in the exchange window, and are not refundable if you choose the wrong one.
- ♂ = Male
- ♀ = Female
Faction Safe[ | ]
The Faction Safe is a special type of storage designed to hold items for use with Faction-related activities, such as event items or prizes from Territory Wars. It can be accessed by speaking with the Faction Stashkeeper, located at the Headquarters towards the back. By default, the Faction Safe is not activated and must be done by the Faction's Leader. Unlocking the safe requires a minimum of 300 Loyalty Points, after which the Leader will require a Faction Safe Stone from the Boutique which costs 10 gold. If the Faction has at least 4,250 Loyalty Points however, then the Faction Safe can be unlocked with a Ten Million Big Note instead.
The Faction Leader can then choose the privileges for who may access the safe. All members can check the Faction Stash Records however, through speaking with the Faction Stash Record Keeper located beside the Faction Stashkeeper.
Faction Repair[ | ]
The Faction Repair feature can be unlocked when the leader unlocks level 5 talents. Faction Blacksmith Chann will arrive in the Faction Base Headquarters at (398 628), allowing the Faction Leader to recharge Faction Repair Funds using Loyalty Funds. The Faction Repair Funds can be used to cover 70% of a Faction member's repair cost, while the remaining 30% is paid using the member's Silver/Gold Coins. The Faction Repair Funds are shared with every member, meaning that if there are 400,000 Faction Repair Funds and a member uses 250,000 of those funds, then there will only be 150,000 repair funds left for the rest of the members to use. Remaining Faction Repair Funds that have not been used will be cleared every Monday at 12am server time.
To replenish Faction Repair Funds, the Faction Leader can choose the Faction Repair Recharge Service option from Faction Blacksmith Chann. By default, 500,000 Faction Repair Funds will be available for members to use. This can be replenished using Loyalty Funds, with a rate of 1:2500, meaning that 1 Loyalty Fund will replenish 2,500 Faction Repair Funds. There is a maximum recharge usage of 3,000 Loyalty Funds per week, or 7,500,000 Faction Repair Funds.
Members can repair at any NPC that would normally offer a repair service, such as a merchant. The buy/sell window will have two Repair buttons at this point, with the rightmost button being for Faction Repair. This can be checked by hovering over the button. Clicking this button will open a confirmation window that will state how many Silver/Gold Coins the member will have to pay for their repairs, and how much of the Faction Repair Fund will be used. The Faction Repair function can only be used to repair equipment the member is currently wearing, and they cannot individually choose which pieces of equipment to repair.
Loyalty Merchant[ | ]
The Loyalty Merchant can be unlocked when the leader unlocks level 8 talents. Loyalty Merchant Kinjin will arrive in the Faction Base Headquarters, where the Faction Leader can purchase items using Loyalty Funds. The following can be purchased:
Item | Cost |
---|---|
Faction Signet | 1,500 Loyalty Funds |
Squad Signet | 500 Loyalty Funds |
Faction Guardian Charm | 500 Loyalty Funds |
Faction Spirit Charm | 300 Loyalty Funds |
Faction Talents[ | ]
Within the Faction Base, the Faction Leader can interact with the Spirit Tree's Soul, located at the Spirit Tree, to active Faction Talents to benefit all members with buffs, teleports, or free items.
There are a total of 8 tiers or levels of Faction Talents, each with Primary and Secondary Benefits. The leader can choose only one Secondary Benefit per level, while the Primary Benefits of that particular tier will be unlocked automatically once the Secondary Benefit is unlocked. Each level must be unlocked in order, for example you will not be able to benefit from the level 2 talents unless you have unlocked the level 1 talents first.
Activating Faction Talents costs 500 Loyalty Funds for each level that the leader unlocks. The talents reset each week on Monday at 12:00AM.
Scripted Events[ | ]
During each hour at the same time that the Faction Pet's stats decrease, a random scripted event will occur inside the Faction Base. Certain NPCs will appear and walk around your Faction Base while talking. They do not provide the player with anything other than amusement. They will only be present for a short time before disappearing. The events that occur each hour are random.
