Transmutation is a system designed to recycle old unwanted items for potentially more useful items. There are two main versions of transmutation available - low level and high level. Characters of any level can use both the lower level and higher level transmutation as long as they have the items required. Transmutation can be performed at Transmutation Master Xolo, located in south Archosaur (555, 625).
A third type of transmutation, repair powder, can be used to recycle Twilight Temple Revisited materials into Twilight Repair Powders. Twilight Repair Powders can be used to repair Twilight Warsoul Gear. This type of transmutation can be accessed at any of the three forges at the Town of Arrivals (525, 658), under the Repair Powder option.

How to Transmute Items[edit | edit source]
To use the transmutation system, talk to Transmutation Master Xolo in south Archosaur (555, 625). From there, the player can choose between using the low level transmutation or the high level transmutation. The player can use the repair powder transmutation system through any of the three forges at the Town of Arrivals (525, 658) and then choosing the Repair Powder option. The difference between the three are the items required to perform transmutation, the items received through transmutation, and the required Alchemy Credits in order to perform transmutation.
In the window that appears, there are two different sections for items. The upper section is for reagents, or items that the player wishes to use for transmutation. Only certain items can be placed in this section, and any items placed there will be consumed once the transmutation progress is complete. The lower section is for transmutation products, or items that are received as a result of transmutation. The player can remove the items from this section by left-clicking on each item. Products can also be left in the box to be collected later, even if the transmutation window is closed or the player logs off, serving as a handy storage area.
To check which items are needed for the transmutation system, or to see what items can be received through the system, the player can click the Information button to the top-right of the transmutation window. Another window will appear with a list of items. On the reagents side are items that can be used for transmutation. Each item is worth a certain amount of Alchemy Credits. To perform transmutation, the player will need to have a certain amount of Alchemy Credits.
- For low level transmutation, a minimum of 10 Alchemy Credits are needed to perform 1 transmutation.
- For high level transmutation, a minimum of 450 Alchemy Credits are needed to perform 1 transmutation.
- For repair powder transmutation, a minimum of 1 Alchemy Credit is needed to perform 1 transmutation.
When a reagent is placed in the window, your Excess Value will increase. This is your excess Alchemy Credits. You can perform more than 1 transmutation at once, however you will need to have the equal amount of Alchemy Credits required for any additional transmutations you would like to perform, otherwise excess Alchemy Credits and excess items will be wasted. For example, to perform 2 high level transmutations the player will need to accumulate 900 Alchemy Credits. If the player only puts in 890 Alchemy Credits worth of items, then only 1 transmutation will be performed and the excess credits and items will be lost.
Results is the amount of transmutations that you can perform with the items inserted. As mentioned above, it is possible to perform multiple transmutations at once if enough items are inserted as reagents. The maximum amount of transmutations that can be performed at once is 500.
A coin fee of 20,000 is also required per high level transmutation. Low level and repair powder transmutation do not have a coin fee.
Once the player has inserted the desired amount of items for transmutation, and has both the Alchemy Credit and coin fee requirements met, they can click the Transmute button and the transmutation process will begin. This process can be cancelled mid-production if the player changes their mind. After the process is complete, products will appear in the lower section of the window and can be moved into the player's inventory or kept there for an indefinite amount of time.
Low Level Transmutation[edit | edit source]
Low level transmutation focuses on the discarding of items that can be obtained in the player's lower levels, prior to reaching level 100, though players that are over level 100 can also use the low level transmutation. The items that can be received are not all necessarily tailored for lower levels; some items are useful for higher level players as well, such as the Feastworthy Crab Dumplings and Rainbow Lantern Yuanxiao.
To perform low level transmutation, a minimum of 10 Alchemy Credits is required per transmutation. There is no coin fee for low level transmutation.

Products[edit | edit source]
The items listed below are possible items that can be received through the transmutation system.
High Level Transmutation[edit | edit source]
High level transmutation focuses on the discarding of items that can be primarily obtained from daily quests available for players over level 100. It is unknown as to whether players under level 100 can benefit from the high level transmutation, as most items cannot be obtained at lower levels unless they are redeemed from Arc Codes. Regardless, the majority of items received from high level transmutation cannot be used by lower levels. Unlike low level transmutation, many products that can be received from high level transmutation are also reagents; as such they can be re-used for transmutation.
To perform high level transmutation, a minimum of 450 Alchemy Credits is required per transmutation. There is also a coin fee of 20,000 coins per transmutation.

Repair Powder Transmutation[edit | edit source]
Repair powder transmutation allows players to discard unwanted materials obtained from Twilight Temple Revisited. The only item that can be obtained from this type of transmutation is Twilight Repair Powder. Twilight Repair Powder is only used to repair Twilight Warsoul Gear and cannot be used for any other types of equipment.
To perform repair powder transmutation, a minimum of 1 Alchemy Credit is required per transmutation. This means that you will always be able to get Twilight Repair Powders regardless of which material you use, and Alchemy Credits are never wasted. There is no fee required for this type of transmutation.
