Apprentice Quests

This page contains a list of Apprentice Quests that can be acquired by Apprentices in the Master and Apprentice System. These quests can be acquired once an Apprentice reaches a certain amount of Tutorship Points. Completing these quests will award players with titles, Experience, Spirit, Reputation, and items such as Nuema orbs and Mystical Pills.

To become an Apprentice there are no requirements, except for having a Master.

Quests

These quests can be found in the quest log under Side > Legend. They are white in color.

Appre. Initiate

These quests can be acquired once you have reached 1500 Tutorship Points. The quests take place northeast of Bamboo Village.

Apprentice Initiate - Rules

Quest Dispatcher: Senior Brother Aran, Bamboo Village (377, 358)

1. Wait 10 seconds.
2. Talk to Senior Brother Aran again.

Rewards: Tea

Apprentice Initiate - Begin

Quest Dispatcher: Senior Brother Aran, Bamboo Village (377, 358)

1. Great Tutor Hou will appear and follow you around. He can fly, but if he disappears, try standing on the ground to make him reappear.
   • If Great Tutor Hou does not reappear you will have to trash the quest and start over.
2. Go east to (395, 359), where you will find sheltered areas with a table and chairs.
3. Collect from the table and chairs to "Serve Tea". You will receive an Empty Tea Cup.
4. Talk to the Great Tutor Hou NPC follower. Both the Empty Tea Cup and the NPC follower will disappear.
5. Talk to Senior Brother Aran northeast of Bamboo Village (377, 358).

Rewards: Student Grand Pack, Student title

World Traveler

These quests can be acquired once you have reached 3000 Tutorship Points.

Well-known Locations

Quest Dispatcher: Great Tutor Hou, Bamboo Village (375, 355)

1. Great Tutor Hou will appear and follow you around. He will follow the player across different maps. He can fly, but if he disappears, try standing on the ground to make him reappear.
   • If Great Tutor Hou does not reappear you will have to trash the quest and start over.
2. Go to Heroes' Terrace in the Celestial Vale (322, 524). To enter the Celestial Vale, talk to the Teleport Master in any of the starter cities (Etherblade City, City of the Plume, City of the Lost, City of Raging Tides, Tellus City, or Dawnglory) and select the "Go back to Celestial Vale" quest from the Quest Related option.
3. Leave the Celestial Vale by taking the "Go back to Perfect World" quest from Teleport Master Luffey (320, 522) in western Heroes' Terrace.
4. Go to south Archosaur (552, 633), opposite of the bank, in front of Gem Merchant Chu and the Bookmerchant.
5. Go to Tai Chi Shore at (577, 985). Tai Chi Shore is located northeast of Etherblade City near the Haunted Path area.
6. Go to southeastern Sirry Wine Camp (244, 773). Sirry Wine Camp is in the Plain of Farewells area, found north of City of the Lost and southeast of City of a Thousand Streams.
7. Go to Pierced Heart Lake (334, 680 ↑29), above the star-shaped island. Make sure you are high up in the air. Pierced Heart Lake is located northeast of City of the Lost.
8. Talk to the Great Tutor Hou NPC follower. You can choose any option when talking to him - both will complete the quest. He will disappear and the quest will complete.

Well Versed

These quests can be acquired once you have reached 4500 Tutorship Points.

Well Versed - Memories

Quest Dispatcher: Great Tutor Hou, Bamboo Village (375, 355)

1. Great Tutor Hou will appear and follow you around. He will follow the player across the map. He can fly, but if he disappears, try standing on the ground to make him reappear.
   • If Great Tutor Hou does not reappear it should not affect the quest. If you cannot complete the quest you will have to trash it and start over.
2. Talk to the Old Chief in Hidden Heroes Village (497, 867), east of Etherblade City.
3. Talk to Soldier Feng in Angler's Village (637, 831), west of Dawnglory.
4. Talk to Miss Chiu just outside of Sanctuary (644, 557), southeast of Archosaur.
5. Talk to Yi Wangjan in Bamboo Village (369, 349).
6. Talk to Kufeng the Elder in Sirry Wine Camp (232, 779), southeast of the City of a Thousand Streams. Great Tutor Hou will disappear.

Rewards: Student Grand Pack, Heaven Soldier Soul, Inspired title

The Heaven Soldier Soul can be used to automatically get a level 101 weapon based on your character's class.

Justice Upheld

These quests can be acquired once you have reached 6000 Tutorship Points. The quests start at some houses in The White Ridge, southeast of Bamboo Village.

You may need some help doing these quests, especially if you are at a lower level.

Village in Trouble

Quest Dispatcher: Villager Nusan, The White Ridge (397, 312)

1. Talk to Villager Mutt in the same location.

Justice Upheld - Punishment

Quest Dispatcher: Villager Mutt, The White Ridge (397, 312)

1. Kill the following bosses nearby (394, 316), in order. You may need help if you are at a lower level. All 3 bosses will attack at the same time, though you can lure 1 of them at a time to make the battle easier. It is recommended to fight them away from where they stand so they do not respawn and attack the player.
   1. Kill the Flame Lion.
   2. Kill the Dragon Bunny.
   3. Kill the Glazed Feline.
2. Talk to Villager Nusan at the houses nearby (397, 312).

Rewards: Student Grand Pack, Sophisticated title

Battle Tested

These quests can be acquired once you have reached 7500 Tutorship Points. The quests start at some houses in The White Ridge, southeast of Bamboo Village.

Friendly Fire

Quest Dispatcher: Wounded Flame Lion, The White Ridge (393, 315)

1. Collect the Bloodied Gauze from the Wounded Glazed Feline (392, 316). The digging spot is in front of its feet, where the blue light pillar is. The Bloodied Gauze will disappear.
2. Collect the Bloodied Gauze from the Dragon Bunny (392, 315). The digging spot is at its feet, where the blue light pillar is.
3. Give the Bloodied Gauze to Villager Mutt at the houses nearby (397, 312).

Battle Tested - Happy Ending

Quest Dispatcher: Villager Mutt, The White Ridge (397, 312)

1. Villager Mutt will appear and follow you around. He can fly, but if he disappears, try standing on the ground to make him reappear.
   • If Villager Mutt does not reappear it should not affect the quest. If you cannot complete the quest you will have to trash it and start over.
2. Talk to the Wounded Flame Lion at the houses nearby (393, 315).

Rewards: Student Grand Pack, Erudite title

Path Shared

These quests can be acquired once you have reached 9000 Tutorship Points. You will need your Master's assistance to open the Master and Apprentice Instance to do these quests.

Path Shared - Sunny Umbrella

Quest Dispatcher: Great Tutor Hou, Bamboo Village (375, 355)

1. Have your Master open the Master and Apprentice Instance, and then enter the instance yourself. Your Master should stay in the instance until you have finished these quests. You do not need to do any of the challenges in the instance.
2. Travel to the northeast corner of the map, at Lotus Pond (the Summer challenge). Collect a Sunny Umbrella around the bridge at (423, 578).
3. Leave the Master and Apprentice Instance. You can use Town Teleport/Teleport Incense to go back to the start of the instance and leave, or use a Teleport Stone to directly teleport to Bamboo Village.
4. Give the Sunny Umbrella to Great Tutor Hou at the houses in northeastern Bamboo Village (375, 355).

Path Shared - Emerald Bamboo

Quest Dispatcher: Great Tutor Hou, Bamboo Village (375, 355)

1. Enter the Master and Apprentice Instance again. If you cannot enter it, have your Master open it for you again so you can enter.
2. Travel to the northwest corner of the map, at Peach Blossom Tower (the Spring challenge). Collect an Emerald Bamboo north of the courtyard (385, 582).
3. Leave the Master and Apprentice Instance. You can use Town Teleport/Teleport Incense to go back to the start of the instance and leave, or use a Teleport Stone to directly teleport to Bamboo Village.
4. Give the Emerald Bamboo to Great Tutor Hou at the houses in northeastern Bamboo Village (375, 355).

Rewards: Student Grand Pack, ★★Eye of the Jungle, ★★Heart of the Jungle, Colder Blue title

The ★★Eye of the Jungle and ★★Heart of the Jungle are elemental defense and physical defense belts for level 30 characters.

There are currently no more Apprentice Quests available after these quests. The Apprentice can continue as an Apprentice, or work towards doing their Graduation Quests to become a Master themselves.
