Arcane Sky Quest Chain

The Arcane Sky Quest Chain is a series of quests that take place in the Primal World. It is a part of the Primal Quest Chain, and based around the Arcane Sky boundary. Players can begin this quest chain once they have reawakened once, reached level 90, and have completed the quest chain to unlock the Arcane Sky boundary along with the two pre-Arcane Sky quests that come afterwards. The quest chain is offered in parts that can only be done as the player levels up their boundary up until Arcane Sky 4, after which the player will be able to finish the quest chain with no other boundary level requirements. The final quest in the quest chain will require the player to be level 100 to complete however, as it involves entering Flowsilver Palace.

Tips

• Players that started this quest prior to level 90 Reawakening 1 must first level up before continuing the quest chain.
• It is recommended to start this quest chain as soon as possible to help level up your character as quests also offer Experience and Spirit rewards. It also offers Reputation which is useful for acquiring Rank equipment.
• It is not recommended to use an Ancient Gift when doing this quest chain, as vitae rewards are lower than in other boundary quest lines. It is recommended to use it around a higher boundary such as Twilight Sky.
• The player will receive quest items in their regular inventory instead of their quest inventory. Avoid discarding or selling these items.
  • If the player somehow loses certain quest items they may have to trash their quest and start it again.
• Quests can be found in the quest log under the Find Quest tab. Their name will be cyan in color.
  • The first quest Necessary Strength cannot be found in the quest log.
• If the player cannot find any quests in their log, they may have to level up their Arcane Sky level or their regular level to proceed.

Unlocking Arcane Sky

To unlock Arcane Sky, you must do the following quests after reawakening and becoming level 90:

Go to the Primal World

Quest is acquired automatically once you have met the level requirements and are in the Midlands. Requires the completion of the quest New Horizons which is available prior to reawakening.

1. A popup will appear. Confirm it to continue.
2. Talk to the Messenger of Time on the platform in central Archosaur (553, 655 ↑28).

Rewards: War Avatar Pack C

After completing this quest you will be able to teleport into the Primal World by talking to Messenger of Time Woyo in the starter cities and in Archosaur.

What is Boundary?

Quest is acquired automatically while you are in the Midlands.

1. Teleport into the Primal World.
2. Talk to the Sacred Mirror in Kirin Town (370, 463).
3. Repeat the following steps 5 times:
   1. Perform the Meditate action by clicking on the prompt on-screen, or clicking it in the Action window, accessed by pressing the E key.
   2. Wait 10 seconds.
   3. A popup will appear. Confirm it to continue.
4. Talk to Arcane Sky Envoy Yanna in Kirin Town (372, 468).

After completing this quest, your boundary will be upgraded to Arcane Sky.

1. Talk to the Kirin Town Watch post in the air in Kirin Town (378, 458 ↑38). A Sudden Shadow will appear that tells the player about Kirin Town.
2. Talk to the Dragon Tower Watch Post in the air near Dragon Tower (319, 516 ↑43). A Sudden Shadow will appear that warns the player about powerful enemies to the north.
3. Talk to the Snow Ape Ridge Watch Post in the air at Snow Ape Ridge (374, 578 ↑50). A Sudden Shadow will appear that talks about the White Ape tribe and the Raccoon tribes.
4. Talk to the Tyrant's Fortress Watch Post in the air near Lord Tyrant's Fortress (351, 624 ↑47). A Sudden Shadow will appear that talks briefly about the fortress.
5. Talk to Arcane Sky Envoy Yanna in Kirin Town (372, 468).

Tyrannical Assault

1. Kill 5 Tyrant Army Warriors near Light Emperor Alexander.
   • Be careful when attacking warriors as it is easy to aggro other monsters nearby, overwhelming the player. If this happens the player can fly into the air and stay still until the monsters reset.
   • Some warriors might be fighting Elite Guard NPCs. Killing these warriors might not give the player kill credit.
2. Talk to Commander Wei in Kirin Town at the group of Resistance Force troops (379, 467).
3. Kill 3 Tyrant Army Soldiers near Light Emperor Alexander.
   • Be careful when attacking soldiers as it is easy to aggro other monsters nearby, overwhelming the player. If this happens the player can fly into the air and stay still until the monsters reset.
   • Some soldiers might be fighting Elite Guard NPCs. Killing these soldiers might not give the player kill credit.

Sword of Light

1. Talk to Light Emperor Alexander again.
2. Kill 6 Lightplate Fighters around the outskirts of Kirin Town.
   • The player may require help to kill these fighters as they can hit hard. They also AoE, so if the player is receiving help and cannot survive hits they should stand far away enough from the fight.
   • Lightplate Fighters will deal strong physical attacks and also debuff the player with a bleed DoT. They also AoE nearby players and occasionally buff their physical attack. They can be stunned, frozen, and debuffed with other movement-impairing effects.
   • Be careful when attacking the Lightplate Fighters as it is easy to attract more than one at a time, overwhelming the player. The player can try luring monsters using a battle pet, summon, or the Zeal genie skill Earthflame.
3. Talk to Light Emperor Alexander in Kirin Town (380, 473).
4. Talk to Linn Shoyo in Kirin Town (385, 466).

The Bamboo Raccoons

3. A popup will appear once the player kills enough raccoons. Confirm the popup to continue.
4. Dig one of the Suspicious-Looking Rocks next to the Bamboo Raccoon Chief at (375, 505) or (375, 506). A Raccoon Ninja will spawn. Kill the Raccoon Ninja.
   • The player will also receive a Marble, which can be used to obtain a title using World Quest items.
   • The rocks can be dug an infinite amount of times even without the quest to obtain infinite Marbles.
5. Talk to the Bamboo Raccoon Chief in Bamboo Raccoon Village (374, 506).

4. Talk to the Tree Raccoon Chief in Tree Raccoon Village (353, 562).

   • Do not use the Cipher when you receive it; you may glitch the quest by doing this. If you do glitch the quest, you will have to trash it and start over.
3. Talk to Whitesurge near Dragon Tower (318, 536).
4. Right-click the Cipher in your inventory. It will consume both the Cipher and all of Lord Tyrant's Orders, and give the player Decrypted Orders.
5. Give the orders to Whitesurge near Dragon Tower (318, 536).
6. Talk to the Dragon Tower Crystal in the southwest corner of Dragon Tower (319, 521).

Purge Snow Ape Ridge

   • It is recommended to lure the chieftain away to the east side of the ridge to avoid other Snow Apes, especially the Snow Ape Priest.
   • While it has over 115,000 health, it does not hit much harder than the other Snow Apes most of the time, so it is easier than many bosses in the Primal World.
2. Talk to Chie Tenmus outside of Snow Ape Ridge (377, 584).
3. Kill 8 Snow Ape Skulkers at Snow Ape Ridge.
   • It is easy to get swarmed by Snow Apes in this area so take caution. Stay away from the middle of the ridge to avoid the Snow Ape Priest and the Snow Ape High Chieftain.
4. Talk to Chie Tenmus again outside of Snow Ape Ridge (377, 584).

   • The player should be able to handle the general on their own, but may need help if they needed help with Lightplate Fighters at the beginning of the quest chain.
   • The general will attack the player using strong physical attacks and also debuff them with a Bleed DoT.
4. Talk to Whitesurge again at Lord Tyrant's Rear Camp (364, 595).

An Unexpected Threat

Quest Dispatcher: Whitesurge, Lord Tyrant's Rear Camp (364, 595)

1. Talk to Commander Du next to Whitesurge (364, 594). Make sure you are on the ground when talking to him.
2. A Corrupted Commander will immediately spawn and attack the player. Kill him.
   • The commander will only appear for 30 seconds so the player must kill him before he disappears.

The Emperor's Sword

To do this quest, the player will need to be at least level 100 so that they can enter Flowsilver Palace.

Quest Dispatcher: Light Emperor Alexander, Kirin Town (380, 473)

1. Kill Tyrant Prince Mushi in Flowsilver Palace. The player will need a squad to complete this part of the quest. It can be done in any mode (normal, deicide, or judgment).
2. Talk to the Heavenly Realm's Rose in Tyrant Prince Mushi's room in Flowsilver Palace, next to his throne (411, 562).
3. Leave Flowsilver Palace by talking to the exit NPC and selecting "Go back to Kirin Town".
4. Talk to Whitesurge in Kirin Town (371, 463) or near Dragon Tower (318, 536) if you don't return to Kirin Town.

Rewards: Mystical Pill x100, 7680 Silver Coins, 3839600 Experience, 1535840 Spirit, 384 Reputation, 891 Vitae

Completing this quest will complete the quest chain. The player will receive further quests to proceed to the Mirage Sky boundary once they have reawakened twice, are level 90, and are Arcane Sky X with maximum Vitae.
