Old Unicorn Forest

Unicorn Forest is the second past map obtained from Chrono Quest's Unicorn Forest quest line. Inside this map there are quests and daily quests. Monsters have a chance to drop cards for card bosses. This map is only available at certain times.

Open Hours

Players can access the Unicorn Forest by talking to the Messenger of Time in Old Heaven's Tear. The players will be asked to dig a Heroes' Blood, which is located in the lake at (362 527). The blood is only available for three hours then it will disappear for three hours. Players can choose to dig the blood but not enter the map so that the quest will be available at any time they want.

Once inside Unicorn Forest, a quest will appear in the quest log with a 2 hour timer. Once the timer expires the player will be kicked out of the map.

Card Bosses

Four of the sixteen card bosses are from the Unicorn Forest. Different monsters inside the map drop different cards. Players need 1-8 of a card before they can take the quest at the Land Elder (366 517) in Old Heaven's Tear. They can also trade 2 Mystical Tome Fragments per card at the Land Elder if they don't wish to spend time killing monsters.

The bosses located in dungeons must be complete runs without the use of wines. If wine is used, the Summmonobot will not spawn. The Summonobot for Gluttonfowl will only appear after completion of wave 2 in the Valley of Reciprocity. All of these bosses will drop around 15 to 20 Power Materials, which are used in crafting pants, rings, and belts.

Wraith's Spirits

Wraith's Spirits are items that drop from a few monsters inside Unicorn Forest and are also obtained from repeatable quests.

A blacksmith inside of the Unicorn Forest will have to option for players to trade in a certain number of Spirits for an helm. There are two items to choose from: Forest's Wisdom (a heavy helmet) and Ence's Scar (an arcane helmet). The more Spirits traded in, the better the stats.

The daily quest is only obtainable after completing the next few parts of your quest series and gaining access to Old Valley of the Scarred.
