Perfect World Bestiary

Perfect World Bestiary is a classic quest chain available for players level 62 and above. The quest chain is listed in the Classic section of the Perfect World Anecdote, and will award players with 1 Insight Point for completion. Players will also receive a permanent Telepath Charm which can transform the player into a turtle for a limited time.

Players will be introduced to this quest chain and the Crisis of the Tauroc quest chain after completing the level 60+ Token of the Seven quest chain. They can receive the quest "Manor of Knowledge Scholar" from the Celestial Recluse in Heaven's Tear (467, 567 ↑47) to be introduced to both quest chains. This quest is not required to begin the Perfect World Bestiary or Crisis of the Tauroc quest chains.

Perfect World Bestiary

Quest Dispatcher: Manor of Knowledge - Lanbos, Bamboo Forest of the Shining Moon (358, 347)

1. Talk to the Manor of Knowledge : Sage in the City of the Plume (325, 426). He will give the player a Perfect World Bestiary.
2. Give the Bestiary to the Manor of Knowledge - Lanbos west of Bamboo Village (358, 347).

Rewards: Heartward Jade, 53 Silver Coins, 26100 Experience, 10440 Spirit, 3 Reputation

The Heartward Jade is used to create level 70 Quicksand Maze equipment.

Fresh Chelonian Sample

Quest Dispatcher: Manor of Knowledge - Lanbos, Bamboo Forest of the Shining Moon (358, 347)

1. Get the following specimens from the following monsters in the Lake of No Worries, southwest of the City of the Plume. Each item has a 30% chance to drop.
   1. Amphibian Tortoise Specimen from Amphibian Turtle
   2. Saint's Lake Tortoise Fossil from Saint's Lake Tortoise
   3. Vortex Crawler Specimen from Vortex Crawler Monarch
2. Give the items to the Manor of Knowledge - Lanbos west of Bamboo Village (358, 347).

Rewards: 174 Silver Coins, 86900 Experience, 34760 Spirit, 9 Reputation

Ancient Fossil

Quest Dispatcher: Manor of Knowledge - Lanbos, Bamboo Forest of the Shining Moon (358, 347)

1. Collect the following fossils:
   1. Mutant Whirler Turtle Fossil in the Phoenix River southwest of Archosaur (491, 621 ↑19)
   2. Highland Tortoise Fossil in the Creeping Stream east of Broken Bridge Village, south of the City of the Lost (245, 557 ↑20)
   3. Metaljaw Lionturtle Fossil in the around the Forest of Songs near Netherspring Camp on the Island of Broken Dreams (644, 243 ↑25)
2. Give the fossils to the Manor of Knowledge - Lanbos west of Bamboo Village (358, 347).

Rewards: 139 Silver Coins, 69500 Experience, 27800 Spirit, 7 Reputation

Tortoise Everlasting

Quest Dispatcher: Manor of Knowledge - Lanbos, Bamboo Forest of the Shining Moon (358, 347)

1. After waiting a few moments, the player will receive a 10 minute time-limited Telepath Charm. If the charm disappears you will have to trash this quest and start over.
2. Go south of Tai Chi Shore (near the City of Misfortune) to (586, 965 ↑20). Make sure you are below the water.
3. Once you are in the right location, a popup will appear. Confirm it to continue.
4. Right-click the Telepath Charm in your inventory. You will be transformed into a turtle.
5. Go northeast to (590, 968 ↑20). You will only have 2 minutes to do this.
6. Once you are in the right location, a popup will appear. Confirm it to be transformed back to normal.
7. Talk to the Manor of Knowledge - Lanbos west of Bamboo Village (358, 347).

Rewards: Telepath Charm, Mirage Celestone x100, 53 Silver Coins, 26100 Experience, 10440 Spirit, 3 Reputation

The Telepath Charm can be used to turn into a turtle temporarily, and will not disappear when used. The Mirage Celestones can only be used to refine equipment under grade 14, and the refine level cannot be transferred to other equipment.
