You want a Zongzi, don't you? is a daily event that takes place in Snake Isle. It is a slightly revamped version of the retired Snake Isle Dungeon Race event. It is available to players level 80+ with a cultivation of Aware of Vacuity or higher. They must also be able to enter Adventure Kingdom.

The event starts each day between 10:00am-10:05am, 2:00pm-2:05pm, and 6:00pm-6:05pm server time. Players can participate in the event multiple times per day, but only once per time slot.

Players can enter Snake Isle through President Tremolo in Adventure Kingdom (350, 546) between 9:50am-10:05am, 1:50pm-2:05pm, and 5:50pm-6:05pm server time each day.

Map[ | ]

The map for Snake Isle is an older map, and therefore players will not be able to see their location on it; they will mostly have to rely on using the minimap.

How to Participate[ | ]

The race is available between 10:00am-10:05am, 2:00pm-2:05pm, and 6:00pm-6:05pm server time. Players can teleport into Snake Isle 10 minutes before the event begins, and entry will close 5 minutes after the event begins. They can enter through President Tremolo in Adventure Kingdom (350, 546).

Once inside the player will be near the start of the race. A Chief Referee will be at the beginning of the race along with several blue Starting Line flags, which serve as both the start and finish lines. Players can talk with the Chief Referee to learn about the mechanics of the race. Once the event begins, players will have 5 minutes to take the starting quest from the Chief Referee. He may be difficult to target due to the arrows on the ground; it is easier to click on the NPC's name to talk to him.

The Race[ | ]

When taking the event quest, players will be transformed into a Zongzi and have slightly increased movement speed. They will not be able to use a mount or any skills, but can use apothecary items or Genie Skills such as Holy Path. Players will be turned back to normal when completing the race.

Players will be required to complete 3 laps of the island within 30 minutes, crossing each of the 4 checkpoints in consecutive order to complete 1 lap. You do not need to take a quest from each checkpoint but instead be near them until a quest has been completed. The race itself will take the player around the perimeter of the small island. There are large arrows on the ground to guide the player through the race.

Once the race has been completed, the player can teleport back to Adventure Kingdom by taking the quest at the Chief Referee.

Checkpoints[ | ]

The player will need to successfully reach each of the 4 checkpoints in consecutive order, and then reach the starting line to complete a lap. Each checkpoint is marked by a large red checkpoint flag surrounded by arrows on the ground pointing to it. Each checkpoint flag has a number in its name. The Starting Line flags are blue in color and are where the player started the race. Players are not required to interact with the flags, but simply be in the area long enough for the quest to trigger. If the player misses a checkpoint, then they will not be able to go through further checkpoints until they go back to the missed checkpoint.

The checkpoint flags are in the following locations:

  • Checkpoint 1: Northeast corner of the island (393, 586)
  • Checkpoint 2: Small island on the southeast corner of the main island (381, 582)
  • Checkpoint 3: South-central part of the main island (375, 577)
  • Checkpoint 4: West side of the island (354, 581)

Once the player has successfully reached all of the checkpoints they must head towards the starting line at (370, 590) and then pass through one of the Starting Line flags to trigger the completion of the lap and the start of a new one. Once the player has finished all 3 laps they must head back to the starting line and hand in their race quest to the Chief Referee. The player will be transformed back to normal.

Obstacles[ | ]

Throughout the race are several different objects. All of these objects serve as obstacles and will debuff the player if they come in contact with them. Colored wisps will move around the island erratically, and can be difficult to avoid. Along the route will also be rows of blue crystals that do not move.

The player can attempt to avoid obstacles by using Genie Skills or apothecary items to block movement debuffs. Running along the edges of the isle will reduce the amount of wisps that can hit the player, but they can still come in contact with them. On occasion if the player keeps on running away from the wisp it may give up or not debuff them.

The types of debuffs each object gives is described below.

Object Effect Description
White Wisp Freeze Prevents you from moving for a short period of time.
Blue Wisp Slow Reduces your movement speed for a short period of time.
Yellow Wisp Stun Prevents you from moving or using skills for a short period of time.
White Diamond Random Effect Randomly grants the player a freeze, slow, stun, or accelerate effect for a short period of time.
Note: the accelerate effect has no effect on the player.
